Official selection of The Sundance Film Festival 2008 Official selection of The SXSW FIlm Festival 2008 Half-Life was written and directed by Jennifer Phang, co-writer of the upcoming WALKING IN LOS ANGELES, in collaboration with BENZFILM GROUP. Benzfilm’s own Ben Redgrave is one of the stars of HALF-LIFE that will be screening in LA twice this summer at the Los Angeles Film Festival and Outfest 2008. HALF-LIFE is a moving atmospheric tale of surreal suburbia and is currently playing film festivals throughout the rest of the year. Ben Berkowitz is co–producing the film and consulting on post production as part of a new independent film company THE OTHER WORKS , founded with his partner, producer and post supervisor Samantha Stevenson-Berkowitz.

In a city where you are defined by your car, a group of people - who for very different reasons - cannot drive, deal with issues of fame, phobias, and sobriety, that leave them Walking in Los Angeles. Benzfilm Group is an LA based production company founded by Ben Berkowitz and Ben Redgrave. Their first feature film, STRAIGHTMAN , won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Screenplay at Outfest 2000. They are currently preparng to film their second feature script, POLISH BAR with producer Effie T. Brown.
