In memoriam of our friend and colleague Luis Fernandez De La Reguera...            

Executive producer Steve Buscemi and Benzfilm worked together with director Luis Fernandez De La Reguera to tell the story of the life and times of the eponymous actor, Rockets Redglare,whose life was a thrill ride of fame, decadence, and self-destruction. Interviews with many including Steve Buscemi, Willem Dafoe, Matt Dillon, Jim Jarmusch, and Julian Schnabel.      

Rockets Redglare! features interviews with Steve Buscemi, Willem Dafoe, Matt Dillon, Jim Jarmusch, and Julian Schnabel as well as footage of Rockets performing his trademark irreverent stand-up comedy. Since its World Premiere at the Sundance film festival, Rockets Redglare! has screened to much success. Showing at Hot Docs Toronto, Raindance UK, and The New York Independent Film & Video Festival, where it won Best Director and Best Documentary Film.
